Good spot, less expensive option
The Courtyard is located a little bit outside of the hustle and bustle of the downtown Vienna core. Nevertheless, we found it very easy to get to and from the Hotel as it was situated less then a 3 min walk away from a tram station. With one transfer, you can be downtown outside of St. Stephens Cathedral in around 20 minutes.
The room was clean and quiet throughout our few nights there and again is a very solid option for someone travelling on a budget or wanting to get away from the noise of downtown Vienna.
The bar in the hotel was a great place to send some emails and enjoy a pint later at night. I did not catch the name of the bartender working, but the older gentleman was cheerful and a great server.
Why I took one mark away: The real problem however was the water in the shower would sway from very hot to normal temperature without touching the handle. I had to purposely keep the water temperature at the mid point because turning any further to the hot water could easily cause burns. This might be a one off for that room.
Like others have wrote, I found the sheets to be a little stiff for a Marriot hotel. I honestly would have expected softer sheets but alas, this was not that big of a deal.
Finally, breakfast is way to expensive. We skipped out on it, but my goodness the price (i think it was 27€) for one person was not even worthwhile looking at the breakfast to see if it was worthwhile.
Side note: The shower in the our room was in a very big tub that could be difficult to enter if you have minor mobility issues. ( I am young, so I was fine)
